Vegan Pesto Sauce
Vegan pesto sauce recipe made with roasted pumpkin seeds
Delicious savoury pesto sauce that’s vegan, gluten-free, and super easy to prepare! Perfect to serve with hot or cold pasta. This is a family friendly recipe that is sure to please everyone at the table. Serve it alongside a fresh green salad drizzled with a homemade Dragon sauce for a winning combo!
Makes about 4 servings
Ingredients
2 big bunches of fresh basil
4 oz pine nuts
2 oz lightly roasted pumpkin seeds
4 tablespoons nutritional yeast
4 tablespoons of olive oil
2 tablespoons maple syrup
2 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
1-2 garlic cloves
1 tablespoon tamari sauce
Instructions
1. Add all the ingredients to your Nutribullet or blender. Whip the mixture to obtain an homogeneous emulsion.
2. Blend the pesto sauce with your favorite gluten-free pasta, Catelli is my current favorite, and enjoy!
